How do you feel about music in general right now?

I actually feel that alot of new sh*t is poppin right now. Quality hip hop is being produced the problem is that Dj's are fronting on the real sh*t. In the last few months alot of hot albums dropped.Tragedy, Az, Ghost and Trife, Gza Muggs, Ghost face, J-love...etc but none of that sh*t is gettin burn and its f**ked up cause New York Djs would rather play laffy remixes and blends over that.

Who inspired you to get into rhyming?

I cant really single out one person or thing that made start rhyming. I was just always influenced by hip culture as a whole...when I was younger I focused mainly on graffiti and fashion (boosting) the love for those eventually grew into rhyming its all in the family feel me.

Is there any artist/producer out there you would like to work with?

Any artist that I came up listening to...n**** like Kool G rap, Wu-tang Clan, M.O.P., Slick Rick, Rakim... Legends the dudes that really put it down consistently for years. As for producers it would be an honor to build with cats like the RZA, Premier, Dj Muggs, Just Blaze and the Extra P...n***** like that keep the art form alive.

How do you feel about people downloading music?

I got to view that from two sides, as an up and coming artist I’m all for it. I’m currently at a stage in my career where I’m just tryin’ to get sh*t poppin...Maybe ill feel differently in a few years. On the other hand as an artist I feel that n**** who really put it down and create something marvelous deserve bread along with recognition ...especially in times where a bangin album rarely drops. I’m the type of n**** to cop two copies on the strength if an album is on point. I don’t expect everyone to do that but u get where I’m coming from.

Kool G Rap, Raekwon, and Billy Danze (M.O.P.)

Where are you from and do you feel it influenced you musically?

I’m a Queens n****...on a larger scale I’m a New York n***** and you know how that goes... N.Y.C. is always ten steps ahead kid. We’re built differently we got our own swagger, comprende?

What is the last movie you saw and would you recommend it?

The last movie I saw was The Hills Have Eyes...it was aight I’m not really into that kinda flick but it was fun watching my girl jump around and act shook every other scene so it was worth it.

What do you like to get into during your spare time?

I try hit the weights and run...but I’m slacking...besides that I like to go out side with nothing to do...I run around so much taking care of sh*t that when I have an hour or so to simply drive around, post up ,or take a walk with no purpose it truly becomes a luxury.

What motivates you to continue pursuing your dreams?

I’m just focused right now. I’m at a point in my life where I could really grind it out and try to get this rap sh*t poppin, a few years ago I didn’t have the time or the resources.

As an up and coming artist what goals are you trying to achieve at this point in your career?

Basically I’m just trying to get attention, when I say get attention I mean by making mixtape appearances, doing shows, DVDs, and getting whatever kinda air play I can get.... Alot of n***** especially up and coming n***** try to sh*t on the next man just to get a rep...I don't play that game sh*t like that is corny if I come at someone sideways its personal not so n***** can say "oh sh*t you hear that new diss track"

What projects are you currently working on?

I’m actually banging out as many tracks as I can for a mixtape I’m about to drop... it's gonna be hosted by DJ J-LOVE. J is on tour with Ghost till the end of April so figure the mixtape should drop sometime between May and June.

What other artist/ producers are you currently working with?


The main n**** that I’m working with is J-LOVE, he produced most of my joints, sun is on fire right now and he got it poppin on some real hip hop sh*t. Besides that there are a few other dudes I'm currently working with. P.F. Cuttin just produced a banger for me...I’m also working with Thirstin Howl III, Rack-Lo, Gab Gotcha, and my team the Outdoorsmen to name a few.

N**** I came up listening to...G Rap, Wu Tang, Large Pro, Gangstarr,D.J.Muggs ...N**** like that, you feel me?
